More recently, between 2021 and 2023, Protos Consulting developed an extensive Concept Project for a 100% Green LH2 Export Project and H2 hub domestic development together with Australian and Korean partners.
The core technology that makes LH2 export/import barge terminals and the "All-Seaborne Solution" possible is an innovative and revolutionary Cargo Containment System (CCS) and Cargo Handling System (CHS) for LH2 that can provide LH2 tankers at scale.

Linde Cryopump Technology
Linde's liquefied H2 (LH2) storage is easy to convert to H2 gas by passing through a small air heat exchanger so Linde's "cryopump" technology compresses H2 gas to 300 bar (atmospheres).
Directly on modern fuel cell cars, such as Toyota's Mirai and Hyundai's Nexo at the gas station. Cryopump technology and similar systems from other suppliers are the future of Green H2 replenishment. There is no need to store High Pressure H2 in cylinders at the gas station.
The 50,000 m3 tanker has 4 x 12,500 m3 of cargo containment storage tanks (CCS) for a capacity of 50,000 m3.
The export and import barges each have: 6 x 12,500 m3 of tanks built in the hull of each barge terminal. Each terminal provides 75,000 m3 of storage capacity for operational flexibility.

Today Constantino continues his collaboration with Professor Chang, who is the inventor of the V-CCS for LH2 load containment.
There are a number of Green LH2 Export projects in development in Australia, with its tremendous solar resource, which aim to provide Green LH2 to the Fuel Cell Vehicle markets in Korea and Japan.
ProtosCapim now collaborates with KAIST (Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) in feasibility studies and basic design for the "All Seaborne Solution"
